The Interventional Pulmonology (IP) Council comprises pulmonologists who share the same passion in bronchoscopic and pleural procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of related pulmonary conditions. This growing group of collegial professionals is committed to improve patient care nationwide and worldwide by consistently upholding procedural standards; ethics; research; and continuing medical education, such as workshops and multicenter conferences. PCCP diplomates who are active members of the IP council are eligible for membership in the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (https://www.wabip.com), a nonprofit organization that aims to strengthen global ties among healthcare professionals.

Scope 2025: 15th Bronchoscopy Course, July 24-25, 2025

This is a two-day course focusing on interventional pulmonology procedures in the early detection and treatment for Lung Cancer. The course aims to identify bronchoscopic techniques essential for the early detection and tissue diagnosis of suspicious pulmonary lesions and discuss the role of interventional bronchoscopy in the staging and therapeutic management of early-stage lung cancer.

11th Asian Pacific Congress on Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology

In March 2027, the IP council, under the PCCP and in collaboration with the Asian-Pacific Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (APCB), will host the 11th Asian Pacific Congress on Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, which plans to convene local and foreign experts who will share their knowledge and skills in the field.
